Since 1912, YMCA Camp Greenville has been providing significant camping experiences
for children and teens. We help kids gain insight into themselves and their community. The
many rewards include a healthy attitude, more confidence and wisdom gained from
an enriching experience.
At Camp Greenville, boys and girls ages 7 to 17 enjoy a wide variety of traditional
and adventure activities - from swimming and hiking to horseback riding and rock
climbing. Our program also emphasizes cabin life-- teaching campers self-reliance,
cooperation and decision making away from home. With campers attending from across
the United States, YMCA Camp Greenville helps campers appreciate other cultures
and become part of a global community.
When summer camp is not in session, Camp Greenville continues to provide plenty
of great outdoor opportunities for families, schools, churches and groups. Camp
Greenville's Fall/Spring program offerings include: Environmental Education and
Project Worth for school groups; retreat and conference facilities for church
groups, clubs and organizations; and seasonal Family Camps for the old and young
alike.
