First Place 4 Health - The Christ Centered Weight Loss and Healthy Living Program
Experience the difference when you put Christ in all areas of your life. Create
balance in the four core areas of your life. The result? Weight loss and positive
life changes. This 12 week program will focus on your emotional wellness, memory,
physical well bring, and spiritual health.

is from the
First Place 4 Health series and it is the book
"Begin with Christ."
This book be found at any of the local Christian
Book stores.
Starts: Beginning January 15. We will meet every Thursday
from
10 AM - 11 AM for 12 weeks. (The first 15 minutes
will be
weighing in, so if you are getting out of a class,
you have time to
get to the meeting)
Register: Please call or stop by the YMCA and register for
the class
(we need to know how many are coming). It
doesn't cost
anything to register.
Volleyball – Adult Pick - Up
Open to members. Come join us for open play volleyball games every Tuesday at
7:30 PM and Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM. Must be 16 years or older to play.
(All games are pick-up setting).
Adult Wave
Open to members. Our Adult Wave is a great program for athletes training for
triathlons, as it can effectively improve speed and efficiency. It also provides
a difficult yet motivating workout for competitive swimmers of all levels. There
is an instructor that takes you through each workout and helps with technique.
Class size is limited to 6 participants. Classes are held on Mondays from 7:15
PM – 8:15 PM and Thursday from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM. Must sign up with member services
in advance.
Walk to Run
Open to members. This class is great for beginning runners. Classes meet every
Monday at 5:00 PM and Tuesdays at 9:00 AM. Classes are intended to prepare participants
for a 5K by the end of a 10 week period. Contact information is located at the

Tri-Club
This group meets the third Thursday of every month from 6:45 PM – 8:15 PM. Each
months meeting will have a new topic related to triathlons and upcoming events.

Active Older Adults
Be a part of a very active senior group. We take monthly trips to scenic and
historic places in the
Carolina
’s and
Georgia
. There is also a pot luck luncheon the third Thursday of every month. Contact

based on their interests and needs. In addition, we want to make sure all members
