Judson Community Center


The Judson Community Center serves the families of this Hollis Academy neighborhood with the finest in pre-school, after school and summer day camp programs. Judson Community Center is a leader in childcare and the only accredited after school program in Greenville.

Hours of Operation

Pre-school: 7:30 a.m - 5:30 p.m.
Elementary Afterschool: 2:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Middle and high school Afterschool: 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
 
Judson Community Center does not provide transportation for the children.

Programs

First Step Preschool Program

This program serves 3-5 years old and is $55.00 per week. ABC enhanced; accepts ABC vouchers.     

Elementary After School

Children in elementary school participate in homework assistance, computer activities, crafts and free play.  Judson also serves as the After School provider for Hollis Academy. Hours for the Elementary After School program are 2:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  The annual registration is $35 per family; weekly fee is $60. Financial assistance is available based on income and household size.

Teen Programming

Middle and high school students participate in a variety of activities: leadership, community service, life skills, health issues, homework assistance, and college visits. Hours are 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. All day summer activities are available during the summer break.

The Souper Bowl

The Souper Bowl is an annual fund-raiser for the YMCA Judson Community Center that brings together chefs, artists, and community supporters. Students in the pre-K program perform and say the blessing before gourmet soups donated by local restaurants are served. This year, students greeted donors with a song. See the video below.
