Wellness Works: Your total-body health program
Wellness Works is a free, customized wellness program – fitness analysis, fitness coaching,nutrition counseling and continuing education – tailored to your needs. It provides a blueprint for balanced living free to all Y members ages 13 and up.
The Fitness Analysis
You're not alone when planning your fitness goals. The Wellness Works Fitness Analysis will measure your body composition, strength, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance and recommend a customized fitness plan based on the shape you're in and the shape you want to be in.
Your wellness coach will recommend routines and track your progress and help you stay on course. As your health, strength and stamina improve, your coach will make adjustments to your program as you advance.

What goes into your body is important when you're trying to get the most out of your body. The Nutrition Counseling phase of Wellness Works will examine your current eating habits and in conjunction with the Mayo Clinic Healthy Weight Pyramid, help determine what foods and in what quantities are right for you and your fitness goals. If you're looking to lose weight, we can help. Want to add lean muscle mass? Wellness Works can help you do that, too.
After you've completed the plan your health coach as set out for you, you remain a part of the Wellness Works program. You'll be invited to health talks, receive health tips, and be able to take advantage of health screenings offered free throughout the year.
