The GHS Family Y serves families in the Golden Strip area of Simpsonville, Mauldin, Fountain Inn, and Southeast Greenville County. Members of this branch enjoy three locations: The GHS Family YMCA, the Y Program Center - GHS, and the Hollingsworth Outdoor Center. The GHS Family Y, is an 83,000 square foot facility and home to group exercise classes such as Zumba and Body Combat, free weights and resistance training equipment, an indoor track, two regulation basketball courts, the Cardio Theater, a 25-meter outdoor pool, and the Nutrition Solutions cafe. Just down Highway 14 is the YMCA Program Center- GHS (formerly the Adams Mill Program Center). That location is home to our Beast Mode program, after school and summer day camp, as well as youth and adult sports, aquatics, the Adventure Guide program, and the home office of the South Carolina Youth in Government program. And the GHS Y also oversees the Hollingsworth Outdoor Center, a unique outdoor space that sits on the historic Austin Plantation. The Hollingsworth Outdoor Center is used for service learning projects, living history, summer day camps, and other programs for kids and teens.

YMCA of Greenville announces today that it has raised a record-breaking $1,205,982 for its annual scholarship campaign, making it the largest annual campaign total of any YMCA in the state of South Carolina. Over the past ten years, the YMCA of Greenville has raised $8,864,239 for the annual campaign, putting 100 percent of those funds back into the community through scholarships so that anyone who wants to participate in the Y’s programs or services is able to, regardless of their ability to pay
