The YMCA Judson Community Center has been a constant in the lives of the Lee family for years.
Kendall, who is now in 6th grade, started coming to the Judson Y when she was 5 years old. Since then, Kendall and her younger siblings Kennedy and Nigel have been attending summer day camp at Judson.
Two years ago, their family circumstances tragically changed when their father died of cancer at a very young age. The Judson Y summer day camp program provided a welcome and familiar routine for Kendall, Kennedy, and Nigel the following summer, and their mother was able to continue working in the summer to maintain a steady income for the family.
This past summer, Kendall proved to be a leader among her peers and was a positive influence for younger children as well. Kendall, Kennedy, and Nigel enjoy coming to Judson and participating in the wide variety of activities and opportunities offered in the summer day camp program.
