Welcome to the diamond!

Youth baseball and youth softball are one of the most popular sports for kids growing up. But they're also very challenging games that require a lot of skill.

The YMCA of Greenville's youth baseball and youth softball programs are designed to be developmental leagues for the youngest players. We teach kids ages 3-9 the necessary skills they need to master before moving on to play travel baseball or travel softball.

Our youngest players learn to hit from a T in T-ball. They learn to field and catch with the help of our talented coaches.

Our YMCA T-ball, softball, and baseball programs meet the athlete where he or she is and builds their skills from there. Whether their first season is at age 3 or age 9, YMCA coaches will help them get in the game and enjoy their experience.

Playing organized sports is one of The Search Institute's "Developmental Assets," which are predictors for developing into a well-adjusted teen and adult.
