In our Full Day Summer Camp program, your child will grow their social skills, build confidence, and make life-long memories in small, grade-level groups. Each week, your camper will play games, swim, go on field trips, and choose from activities such as sports, crafts, outdoor skills and more! Each week provides unique experiences and Fun Friday dress up themes and events. Our team is excited to welcome your child in to the magic of camp!

Get ready for a summer filled with laughter, friends, and unforgettable memories! Middle School Camp is the perfect next step for your middle schooler to begin to learn responsibility, build character, and boost confidence. This camp offers a space where youth from all backgrounds are welcomed and encouraged to be themselves. Through a variety of different weekly outings, campers will participate in activities, engage in sports, and go on field trips all over Greenville. We hope to see your camper at the Y this summer!
We recognize the development in our campers from 6th through 8th grade, and for that reason we have split our rising 6th graders from our rising 7th-8th grader campers to give each group a unique experience.

Leader in Training(LIT) is the first step of our Leadership Development Program. This program is designed to help build up and equip our future YMCA leaders! Campers will gain hands-on skills, certifications, and learn to work as members of a team while they shadow our awesome summer camp counselors. This program is only available through an application process for rising 8th graders. Those who are accepted into the LIT program will be seen as role models for peers and younger campers and will be expected to demonstrate the values of caring, respect, honesty, and responsibility.

We are excited to offer our 6-week CIT program!
Counselor in Training(CIT) is the second step of our Leadership Development Program. Although it is the second step, campers are not required to participate in any other Y program before applying. This program is designed to help prepare and empower our future YMCA staff! Campers will shadow counselors and practice leading small group activities, all while make lasting friendships with peers during summer adventures! They will experience hands-on training, receive certifications, and professional development. This program is only available through an application process for rising 9th graders. Those who are accepted into the CIT program will be seen as role models for peers and younger campers and will be expected to demonstrate the values of caring, respect, honesty, and responsibility. Completion of the CIT Program gives your camper access to apply the following year as a Junior Counselor!

Our Kinder Camp program is the perfect first step into the world of summer camp! Designed just for rising kindergarteners, this half-day experience helps our youngest campers learn what it means to “be at camp.” Through simple activities, songs, crafts, and outdoor play, campers practice following routines, walking in a line, listening to counselors, and participating in group fun—all in a safe, nurturing environment. No field trips or swimming—just plenty of smiles, confidence-building, and first-time camp magic!
Extended Day option is not available for Kinder Camp.

Swim Camp
Swim Camp is designed to provide a safe, fun environment while improving swimming strokes and learning how to be safer in and around water. Campers will be divided into groups based on swim assessment skill level (Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced). Each group will focus on swimming skills based on current skills and abilities. Each day, campers will rotate through swim instruction, group games, free swim, and water safety activities.
Extended Day option is not available for Swim Camp.

Our camps are designed to foster skill development, teamwork, and a love for physical activity in a fun and supportive environment. Whether your child is a budding soccer star, flag football enthusiast, pickleball player, or looking to enhance their overall fitness and friendship, our diverse range of camps has something for everyone.

Basketball*

Each day campers will go through skills training (passing, shooting, dribbling, rebounding, defense/positions) and team conditioning (Running/Sprints) with the goal of building confidence as an athlete and individual. Each day we will have a word of the day devotion during snack time such as Respect, Honesty, Caring, Responsibility, and Teamwork. Our camp is for kids of all skill levels. Campers will be split into groups according to age and/or ability and all groups will work to develop skills throughout the week. The week wraps up with a Friday scrimmage, giving campers the chance to put their new skills into action in a friendly, game-style setting.

Soccer
Refine your sports skills and have fun at the YMCA Soccer Camp! Each day campers will go through skills training (passing, shooting, dribbling, defense/positions) and team conditioning (Running/Sprints) with the goal of building confidence as an athlete and individual. Each day we will have a word of the day devotion during snack time such as Respect, Honesty, Caring, Responsibility, and Teamwork. Our camp is for kids of all skill levels. Campers will be split into groups according to age and/or ability and all groups will work to develop skills throughout the week. Camp wraps up with a Friday scrimmage, giving campers the chance to put their new skills into action in a friendly, match-style setting.

Flag Football
Refine your sports skills and have fun at the YMCA Flag Football Camp! Each day campers in flag football will go through skills training (passing, throwing, catching, route running, defense/positions) and team conditioning (Running/Sprints) with the goal of building confidence as an athlete and individual. Each day we will have a word of the day devotion during snack time such as Respect, Honesty, Caring, Responsibility, and Teamwork. Our camp is for kids of all skill levels. Campers will be split into groups according to age and/or ability and all groups will work to develop skills throughout the week. The week ends with an intersquad scrimmage amongst campers to put all that they have learned into action!

Pickleball
This Beginner Pickleball Camp introduces campers to the rules and fundamentals of the game, including paddle skills, serving, footwork, and basic court strategy. Fun drills and partner games help build confidence and coordination while keeping players active and engaged. Each day we will have a word of the day devotion during snack time such as Respect, Honesty, Caring, Responsibility, and Teamwork. Camp concludes with a friendly Friday tournament or tournament style matches so campers can put their new skills into action.
Ages 8-14

This option is for Half Day Sports Camp Participants only. Extended Day Camp is an option for parents who seek to complement their child’s half-day camp with additional activities. When sports camp is not in session, they’ll join their friends in Full Day Summer Camp for an extended time of fun and play! Extended camp is only available if your camper is signed up for sports half day camp. Extended day is not available for aquatics camps. Campers will be taken to sports camp by one of our staff, and returned to full day summer camp after sports camp ends. Please note: Extended Day Campers do not go on field trips.

Full Day, Teen, and Extended Day Camps
A NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-TRANSFERABLE $50 registration fee is required at time of registration.
A $10 deposit that applies to your weekly payment is required to reserve your spot for each session week. DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-TRANSFERABLE.
We require payments to be made using an automated payment schedule. This payment authorization is to remain in effect until the Y receives the required notification to cancel the program. Your scheduled payment amount will increase/decrease based on the weekly fee plan(s). This includes holidays. If your scheduled payment is returned or if you stop payment or your account closes, you will be responsible to pay the program fees and the $25 service fee. If any changes occur with your bank account, debit or credit card, please notify the Y immediately.
A cancellation notice is required by the cancellation deadline (please refer to the grid below). Cancellations received by the cancellation deadline will result in a refund or system credit of amount paid minus the $10 deposits. All cancellations must be made by filling out the Cancellation Form.

Half Day Camps
Payment in full is required for all specialty and enrichment camps.
A cancellation notice is required by the cancellation deadline (see grid above). Cancellations received by the cancellation deadline will result in a refund or system credit of amount paid minus $20. All cancellations must be made through the Cancellation Form.
NO REFUNDS or system credits can be issued for cancellation requests made AFTER THE CANCELLATION DEADLINE.

4 -Year-Olds
Child must be 5 years old and a rising kindergartener to participate in camp. You may register a child who is currently 4 years old, but will turn 5 before the desired camp week. Please call us at 864-412-0288 if the system prevents you from registering.
Full Day & Extended Day Camps
If your child has a summer birthday and the system prevents you from registering them into the appropriate camp grade division (based on their rising grade), please call us at 864-412-0288 for assistance.
Half Day Camps
Child must be the age stated on the camp description on the first day of that camp in order to register.
