Swim Lessons
At the YMCA, we believe everyone should learn to swim. Knowing how to swim offers a great way to stay in shape, to stay safe and offers a lifetime fun activities. A few things to keep in mind to get the most out of swim lessons. First, learning to swim is progressive. Usually, it takes more than one session before a child or an adult is comfortable in the water.
Water Fitness
Our pools are mixed use. That means you're welcome to use them for recreation when they are not in use in an organized aquatics program. Every day, our pools host lap swimmers, swim lessons, swim academy practices, aqua aerobics classes, and families enjoying free swim time together. We want everyone to enjoy our facilities safely. That's why we require the following:
Swim Academy
Take your love for the water to the next level with the YMCA of Greenville Swim Academy. This specialized program teaches the basics of swim team and competitive swimming and helps advanced swimmers hone their skills!
Water Safety Week

The Water Safety Week program is built upon two fundamental components: Safety Around Water and water confidence.
Masters Swimming
The YMCA Masters Swim program is designed to provide workouts for adults of all levels seeking to develop their technique, stroke mechanics, and overall physical fitness. Our practices our led by experienced coaches who love to share their passion for swimming with others.
