Whether you're just starting a new sport, seeking to improve your skill level, or working to prevent sports-related injuries, our Youth Sports Performance Program is the perfect fit. Our YMCA staff specialize in helping young athletes succeed and build confidence!

Pre and post assessments will be performed on each athlete to track progress throughout their participation of the program.

 

Only available at the Prisma Health Family YMCA.

  • Monday & Wednesday for ages 8-12 5:30-6:30 pm 
  • Monday & Wednesday for ages 13-16 6:30-7:30 pm

TRAINING OPTIONS

Sports Performance Class

Group training class for any sport that consists of 3-6 athletes. Classes are split up by ages 8-12 and 13-16. This is great for anyone starting a new sport, seeking to improve their skill level, or working to prevent sport-related injuries. They work on areas to level up your:

  • Speed
  • Balance and Precision
  • Agility
  • Complex Strength Training
  • Explosive Power Training
Sport Specific 1-on-1 or Duo Training

This is for athletes looking to work individually with a trainer or with a sibling or friend and trainer focusing on performance enhancement enhancement and injury prevention. Athletes will have the ability to focus on skills needed to succeed in any sport(s) they play. This is scheduled on an individual basis.
