Summer Day Camp
Registration for YMCA Summer Day Camp 2024 opens February 1st to members and the community. Take a peek at all the camps happening at your local Y this summer!
The Y is committed to helping the youth of today grow into the leaders of tomorrow. At the Y, children can gain confidence and explore their interests in a safe environment! Our staff is committed to help the youth of today grow into the leaders of tomorrow. Plus, busy working parents don't need to worry about making arrangements to pick up your kids when school lets out!
We know it's hard to find time for yourself when you're a busy parent. That's why at the Y we provide childwatch at our Family Branches as part of your Household or Adult with Dependent membership. During Childwatch hours, you can bring your child in to play with other kids his or her age while you work out, take a group exercise class, or swim laps.
School Holiday Childcare
School’s Out Special is a fun-filled, full–day program offered on select Greenville County School System holidays and teacher workdays. Children are not required to be enrolled in Y Afterschool or Day Camp programs in order to participate!
If your child is homeschooled and age 6-15, the YMCA Homeschool Enrichment program offers students a chance to exercise and participate in age-specific sports and activities in a instructor-led setting to show how much fun exercise can actually be! Activities include PE games, fitness exams, a variety of sports, and swimming.
At Y Camp Greenville we are all about our campers and parents. We’re an overnight adventure camp for kids from kindergarten to senior year of high school. Camp Greenville offers the best of both worlds – the classic, loved summer camp of the past, adapted to the needs of today’s children and parents. Campers enjoy a balanced mix of adventure, fun, and tradition, all in a beautiful mountaintop setting. Our back to basics approach – screen-free, no phones, no internet – lets campers connect with nature and themselves. Camp Greenville is all these things and we want you to experience it.
