MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE VICE-PRESIDENT AND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Eastside YMCA Family,
First and foremost, I’d like to express my gratitude for the support you’ve shown our Y. As the Greer/Taylors area continues to see explosive growth, YMCA of Greenville efforts remain focused on enhancing our offerings and facilities, as well as your overall member experience.
Recently, we’ve encountered a series of unexpected issues related to pool operation (namely, with our pool heater) resulting in an inability to maintain a suitable water temperature. As a result, our programs have been impacted, as has your ability to access the aquatics area. This week, the heater experienced another malfunction. We anticipate repairs to take place mid-May, as supply chain issues prevent an immediate fix. As of now, the pool will remain open to members for open swim, lap swim and water exercise classes.
Thank you for the patience and understanding you’ve shown our Eastside Family Y staff team during this process. I can personally attest to the fact that serving you is the heart of what they do. Your wellbeing is of paramount importance to us, and I can assure you that every measure is being taken to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
